Dilouya, a French producer based in Paris, grew up influenced by his percussionist father's love for music and travel. Captivated by drums and piano, and heavily inspired by the grooves of Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Lennon-McCartney, Prince, Michael Jackson, and acid jazz, Dilouya evolved into the multi-talented producer he is today. He initially experimented with several bands combining soul, jazz, funk, and pop sounds. Soon, various artists, drawn to his compositional skills and work, gathered around him for collaborations. His debut album, "Faithful Circus," featuring Omar, John Turrell, Hugh Coltman, French soul singer Sly Johnson (Saian Supa Crew), and singers active in the UK soul scene, offers a unique sensibility different from American sounds, much like its jacket design.
