While studying jazz at New York's prestigious Juilliard School, he rose to prominence by sharing the stage with Wynton Marsalis and Jon Batiste every day. His talent was discovered by Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Christian Scott, who joined him in recording. Furthermore, his career is steadily building, including accompanying him on world tours. His debut album, ``Somewhere in Between,'' combines the improvisational nature of jazz, his specialty, with the charm of R&B vocals, resulting in a sound that exudes a soft, sexy sex appeal throughout.
