Since her debut in 2013, Nao Yoshioka has continued to perform globally, including her US debut and London performances. In 2016, she appeared at a large festival in the US capital, attracting 20,000 people. She received a standing ovation from the audience, steadily increasing her global reputation. The theme of her latest work, "The Truth," is the "truth" she discovered by experiencing the music scene with her five senses during her world tour and interacting with many fans and musicians: "The greatest art (real music) connects people across barriers." The title track "The Truth" was produced by Carvin Haggins, who has provided music to Erykah Badu and Jill Scott and has been nominated for a Grammy Award. Furthermore, "I Love When" was co-written with Musicman Ty, who has provided music to artists such as Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj. While hinting at roots in soul, jazz, R&B, and funk, the album embodies evolved soul music by incorporating the sensibilities of world-renowned producers. Guided by music, she traveled the world, creating new sensations connected by sound, the power of music she felt locally, and a borderless sense that removes all barriers.
