Nao Yoshioka, who moved her base to the U.S. in 2018, has achieved exceptional success as a Japanese soul singer, reaching 32nd on the Billboard Urban Adult Contemporary chart and receiving high praise from the major U.S. music magazine Rolling Stone. Approximately three years after her previous work, she has completed her 4th album, "Undeniable." In the production of this album, Nao Yoshioka focused on the "impulses" stirring deep within her soul. She describes these "impulses" as a map that always points her to the future she seeks, and she followed them to aim for a high-level fusion of the energy and warmth of band sound with solid, progressive tracks. In addition to the production members from her previous work, such as Musicman Ty, who produced "I Love When," the album features a luxurious lineup of producers including Eric Roberson, the king of the indie soul scene; Lorenzo Johnson, who has worked with Ledisi and Maysa; Daniel Crawford, who was the keyboardist for Chris Dave & The Drumhedz; and Grammy-winning producer Vidal Davis, formerly of A Touch of Jazz, who has worked with Ne-Yo and Usher. The tracks produced by these artists were re-recorded and re-structured with a full band at the legendary Philadelphia studio, The Studio. Khari Mateen (involved with Jill Scott and The Roots), with whom she deepened her relationship during her previous work, directed the studio work, resulting in outstanding sound quality. This aggressive yet delicate, world-class album is filled with Nao Yoshioka's overflowing impulses as she challenges the global elite.
