After spending two years in New York from 2010, she was the runner-up at the Apollo Theater Amateur Night, ultimately winning for three consecutive months and reaching the Top Dog. She was also selected as a finalist out of 40,000 people at one of America's largest gospel festivals, discovering her immeasurable potential before returning to Japan. Last year, she finally made her debut release with "Make the Change." In July of this year, she traveled to Europe alone, going from jam session to jam session, and also experienced a tour in the United States. One writer called her the Japanese Alicia Keys, and she received praise from Gordon Chambers during her visit to the US. Nao Yoshioka's first album, "The Light," was recorded by three teams in the US, the Netherlands, and Japan. Brian Owens, a vintage soul artist who is a hot topic in the US, was in charge of instrumental recording and vocal direction for three songs. Dani Elliott and ORLY, who are active in New York, co-wrote and provided songs. In the Netherlands, Shirma Rouse, hailed as the No. 1 soul queen, handled instrumental recording and vocal direction for three songs, forming a super-豪華 lineup. The Japanese team includes top musicians active in the scene, with Takuya Kuroda, the trumpeter for the Jose James band, also participating. Soul music, connected by Nao Yoshioka, will cast its magic from Tokyo to the world.
