Fanny Franklin is a singer-songwriter from Santa Monica. She began her musical career at the age of 17 when she joined a punk band called MumbletyPegs. The group quickly disbanded, but she went on to build her career in various bands, was selected as a backing vocalist for Macy Gray, and toured for two years. As a singer for the daKAH Hip Hop Orchestra, she performed with Mos Def, Common, and Guru, developing into a new-generation singer-songwriter with both talent and experience. Her unique bluesy groove and distinctive voice create a strong, memorable impact. This album, full of funky and soulful tastes, mixing modern elements with a 60s old-school feel, has now arrived in Japan!
