Born in Washington D.C., raised in the UK, and now based in Berlin, Olivier St.Louis spent his childhood in a UK boarding school, where he was exposed to various cultures. This experience allowed him to deepen his understanding of a wide range of music, from hip-hop and R&B to garage and British rock. After earning a degree in bioscience from Oxford University and beginning a career as a scientist, his passion for music could not be suppressed. In 2006, he released his first album, "kilowatt," under the name "Olivier Daysoul." Under the same moniker, he collaborated with diverse artists including Onra, Bibio, Hudson Mohawke, and Oddisee, eventually deciding to dedicate himself entirely to music. His album "Road to St.Louis," released under his birth name "Olivier St.Louis," is a compilation of two previous albums. It's a must-listen that captivates listeners with a delicate balance of romantic, spiritual, groovy, and melodic elements.
