jitwam, born in Assam, Northeast India, is a producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Brooklyn and traveling the world. His sound, which seamlessly incorporates psychedelic rock, hip-hop, house music, soul, and jazz, is highly acclaimed. His music was compiled on Moodymann's 'DJ-Kicks', and he has also opened for Roy Ayers.
Now, the Japanese edition of his 2nd full album, "HONEYCOMB", is being released with five bonus tracks. This work is a condensed version of dance music that will undoubtedly be on heavy rotation in clubs, and live music that you'll want to experience with a full band. Standing in a unique position among the diverse lineage of Indian composers and Western professional musicians, he describes his work as follows: "Jimi Hendrix, J Dilla, Moodymann, RD Burman, Bjork... they all created their own worlds, and I want to achieve the same with my music.
