A1: Low Ceilings (Mala Remix)
A remix by Mala, a pioneer in the dubstep scene. Centered on complex percussion, this track creates a somewhat ominous atmosphere with heavy basslines, percussive electric piano, voice sampling, and low-pitched vocals that seem to rise from below. While having a minimal overall impression, the song features delightful arrangements throughout.

A2: Washed in You (Wu-Lu Remix feat. Lex Amor)
A remix by Wu-Lu, an artist who is forging new ground in UK alternative rock, featuring rapper Lex Amor. Lex Amor's unique, poetry-like singing rap melancholically intertwines with Wu-Lu's heavy beats and dark bass.

B1: Learning Lessons (Shy One Remix)
A remix by Shy One, the project of Mali Larrington-Nelson, daughter of legendary DJ Trevor Nelson. This track transforms the jazzy and soulful original into a dark experimental techno/house piece, skillfully utilizing Andrew Ashong's ethereal vocals.

B2: To Your Heart (Gavsborg Remix feat. Shanique Marie)
This remix by Gavsborg, a core member of the Jamaican avant-garde production unit Equiknoxx, features singer Shanique Marie, a familiar voice from Equiknoxx's works. The EP closes with this track, which reconstructs the original into a soulful and refined New Jamaican sound.

While showing respect for the original compositions by Kaidi Tatham, a legend in the UK jazz and crossover scene, each of the participating artists, emblematic of the current UK scene, sheds light on the work from a different angle, creating a striking contrast. Be sure to check it out.
