Up-and-coming UK artists including Wu-Lu, Mala, Gavsborg, and Shy One will be participating.

The widely praised remix EP of Andrew Ashong & Kaidi Tatham's Sankofa Season, which won Mixmag's Album of the Year and Resident Advisor's Track of the Year, is here.
In commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of the release of "Sankofa Season", which fused genres and eras and forged a unique path , Kitto Records commissioned a remix from up-and-coming artists mainly active in the UK, and this project was realized.

A1: Low Ceilings (Mala Remix) A remix by Mala , who has made a name for herself as a pioneer in the dubstep scene. Centered around complex percussion, the combination of a heavy bassline, percussive electric piano, voice sampling, and creeping low-pitched vocals creates a somewhat sinister atmosphere. The song has a minimalist overall impression, but has some cool arrangements throughout.

A2: Washed in You (Wu-Lu Remix feat. Lex Amor)
This song was remixed by Wu-Lu , an artist who is breaking new ground in UK alternative rock, and features rapper Lex Amor . Wu-Lu 's heavy beat and dark bass are melancholy intertwined with Lex Amor 's signature poetry reading-like singing rap.

B1: Learning Lessons (Shy One Remix)
A remix by Shy One , a project by Mali Larrington-Nelson , daughter of legendary DJ Trevor Nelson . The jazzy, soulful original is transformed into pitch-black experimental techno/house that skillfully utilizes Andrew Ashong 's floating vocals.

B2: To Your Heart (Gavsborg Remix feat. Shanique Marie)
The remix was created by Gavsborg , a core member of the Jamaican avant-garde production unit Equiknoxx , and features singer Shanique Marie , who is well known for her work with Equiknoxx . The EP concludes with a song that recreates the original with a soulful and well-honed New Jamaican sound.

Andrew Ashong & Kaidi Tatham

Kaidi Tatham is known as the British version of Herbie Hancock and is known as one of the most important figures in the UK jazz crossover scene. He is the creator of broken beats and has left behind many independent works and remixes as a multi-instrumentalist. Their influence has spread to the fan base of Madlib, Gilles Peterson, K15, and others, and their respect in the UK scene is solid.
Ghanaian-British Andrew Ashong is a sound producer and singer-songwriter who gained attention with his EP ``Flowers'' produced in collaboration with Theo Parrish. Since his 2014 EP ``Andrew Ashong,'' he has been a relatively inactive artist, but his talent has been reevaluated since his collaboration with Kaidi Tatham ``Sankofa Season.''
