"Tokyo2020" to be released on colored vinyl 7-inch analog record

Nao Yoshioka, who is increasingly active overseas, including headlining shows at London Jazz Cafe, will release a limited edition colored vinyl 7-inch analog record of her representative work "Tokyo 2020" on June 23rd, in commemoration of her 10th anniversary. In 2020, Nao Yoshioka was forced to temporarily abandon her activities in the U.S. and return to Japan when the pandemic hit, just as she was about to embark on a world tour and various other appearances. While spending her days in Tokyo unable to sing due to self-isolation and throat problems, she created this song after much contemplation, and it became a major turning point for her to overcome her difficulties. This work, a major turning point in her career, is now re-released as a long-awaited analog record. The B-side includes a remix by UK legend Kaidi Tatham. With a jazzy tone characteristic of Kaidi and a composition that changes tempo (BPM) midway through, it is a valuable track for DJs and other music fans.
