Brian Owens, an authentic soul singer reminiscent of "Marvin Gaye" and "Raphael Saadiq." He has released four works since his 2012 debut album "Moods & Messages," and is widely known in Japan for his solo performance at BLUE NOTE TOKYO and his songwriting for Japanese singer Nao Yoshioka. His latest work, "Love Came Down," was co-produced by Brian Bacchus, who has experience as A&R for Norah Jones and producer for Gregory Porter, and Brian Owens himself. Adhering to an all-live sound, Rhodes and organ, as well as strings, were recorded live, achieving a warm and organic band sound. His inherent classical soul singing, emanating from the depths of his soul, adds further intensity to the sound, making it a work that evokes the golden age of soul music. We look forward to the future evolution of Brian's classic soul, based on his respect for past greats and his deep love for music.
