Since their debut in 2001, NZ-based band Sola Rosa has constantly evolved and captivated audiences. Centered around Andrew Spraggon, the band currently consists of five core members. Bassist Matt Short, who joined in 2004, and guitarist Ben White, who joined in 2007, are both talented musicians who honed their skills through session work. Vocalist and producer Cherie Mathieson is a notable female singer who has collaborated with renowned producers and artists such as Mark de Clive Lowe, Dego (4hero), Lanu (The Bamboos), and Zed Bias. Furthermore, Kevin Mark Trail, a UK-born reggae/R&B artist and singer-songwriter who has also participated in The Streets, a leading hip-hop unit in the UK street scene, has joined the group. Highly acclaimed for their vibrant collaborations and fusion of diverse genres, their new album "Maginetics" lives up to their reputation, allowing listeners to fully experience their charm. Their long-awaited new work, which effortlessly crosses genre boundaries and creates "authentic" sounds that appeal to all music fans, is finally revealed in its entirety.
