Aaron Abernathy, an artist from Cleveland, Ohio, received his musical education at the prestigious Howard University's Department of Music. As he immersed himself in music, showcasing his diverse talents as a pianist, singer, songwriter, and producer, his name gradually gained recognition. In 2005, he was appointed as the music director for Slum Village's world tour, a position he held for five years. Following this, he successively collaborated with artists such as Jack White and Foreign Exchange, becoming an indispensable presence in the music scene. His latest album, "Dialogue," presents his assertions as a Black American from an impartial perspective, showcasing a different charm compared to his introspective and monologic 2016 release, "Monologue." The exhilarating and dramatic sound, reinterpreting 70's soul with a modern sensibility, captivates a wide range of listeners and suggests new possibilities for soul music.
